Kaitlyn's Maternity Session - JENNAKPHOTOS, NJ Photographer

These two soon to be parents will be welcoming a baby boy to the world! I was overjoyed when Kaitlyn reached out looking to book a maternity session. We got to chatting with one another and scheduled our session with the premium package at Washington Crossing Park. With the premium package, it allows us up to 45 minutes to capture a variety of shots of the two.

Fast forward to the day of our shoot, we lucked out to have beautiful weather! The sun was shining and the location we chose had some great shade all around the work with. Kaitlyn and Warren arrived in beautiful white outfits, which was perfect since it allowed us to play around with a variety of backdrops! We were able to capture photos amongst greenery, in front of the infamous Washington Crossing river, with florals, and in front of the many historical buildings. Washington Crossing Park is a great spot for photos, and I’m so glad mama chose this spot! There were so many great spots to work with. To learn more about this location, read this blog post HERE.

We got to chatting in between photos and I learned the two would be having a baby boy who will be due in June. It’s always so exciting hearing a bit more about what the future holds! The two shared their teaching background with me, and how that led them to meet one another! It was clear as day that these two will have so much love and patience for their baby boy once he’s here!

They came prepared with the cutest props - a onesie, an ultrasound photo, baby shoes and socks, and of course, matching mom and dad hats! I love when clients bring their own props to sessions - it makes it so much more meaningful and it’s so fun to see their excitement when they hold up those little pieces!
