HI, I'M JENNA!

I'm a portrait photographer in Central New Jersey and specialize in family and children photography!

Ever since I was a young age, I've always had a camera in my hand. Whether is was a cheap Fujifilm camera, my iPod touch, or even my mom's digital camera, I have always been intrigued by capturing photos. I've always considered myself a creative and determined individual, and growing up into my teen years, I decided to buy my first DSLR. Buying my first camera was a huge deal for me - I could finally take quality images, and have a fun hobby to keep me occupied! Using my new camera, I began taking photos of my friends and family, and overtime, I began to really enjoy the whole process of taking photos and editing them! Ever since that moment where I realized how much I enjoyed interacting with people and taking their photos, I began to start my photography business in May of 2019, when I was a sophomore in high school. At the beginning, I struggled to find clients, and still wasn't considered "professional". I had only had five clients from May of 2019 to March of 2020. Although I was, and still am, a high schooler, I was determined to do things right, and to show others my skills that I knew I had. March of 2020, when COVID-19 was affecting businesses and school, I saw photographers offering porch portraits - mini photography sessions where a photographer would go to your house, and photograph you free of charge, or for a small fee. April 2020, I decided to give porch portraits a try, and thought that even if I don't have that many clients, that it could hopefully boost my business and keep me busy during such an awkward time. Fast forward to the end of June (when I am writing this), I have photographed over 400 families within only three months! I have met so many amazing families, gained so much knowledge, and furthered my photography skills! I am so grateful for all of those families who have allowed me to capture their moments in my photographs, and I cannot wait to further my photography business even more.

From trial and error and testing out what I enjoy photographing much, I have grown to LOVE photographing families and children! I have also done portrait sessions for individuals, headshots, prom, etc., but I most enjoy working with families!

After my high school career I will be attending TCNJ as the Class of 2025 to major in Early Childhood Education, and minoring in Special Needs educating! Although I am not quite there yet, I am so excited for what the future holds and I hope to continue my business, even through my college life!
