HI, I'M JENNA!

I'm Jenna, the photographer behind JENNAKPHOTOS! I specialize in photographing children, families, and all of the little moments in between throughout Mercer County, New Jersey and beyond.

Outside of photography, I am a special education teacher working with young children, which has always been one of my biggest passions. I’m also a daughter, a sister, a twin sister to my brother with special needs, an avid puzzle lover, and, of course, a photographer. My love for working with children plays such a huge role in the way I approach photography, especially when it comes to creating a comfortable, patient, and fun experience for every child and family in front of my camera.

Photography has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I almost always had some type of camera in my hand - whether it was a little Fujifilm camera, my iPod Touch, or my mom's digital camera. I have always loved being creative, and photography was the hobby that continued to stick with me year after year.

JENNAKPHOTOS officially began in March 2020, when I was a junior in high school. During the uncertainty of the beginning of COVID-19, I decided to take a longtime hobby and try something new: porch portraits. What started as a small idea quickly grew, and before I knew it, I was driving throughout Mercer County photographing families almost every day.

Looking back, those porch portrait sessions completely changed the direction of my photography journey. They showed me that something I loved could become so much more than a hobby. Since then, I have continued learning, growing, developing my style, and building relationships with so many incredible families.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of photographing 2,000+ sessions, and one of my favorite parts of this business has been watching families grow. From maternity sessions to newborn photos, first birthdays, yearly family sessions, graduations, and everything in between, it is incredibly special to be trusted with documenting so many important stages of life.

As I begin this new chapter of my life as a full-time teacher, photography continues to hold such a special place in my heart. While JENNAKPHOTOS may look a little different than it did when I first started, I am endlessly grateful for every family who has supported me, trusted me with their memories, and allowed me to turn a childhood hobby into something so meaningful.
