When it comes to booking a session, I offer mini sessions and individual sessions. A mini session is often a short session which takes place at a set date/time/location. These are great opportunities to get a few photos for a smaller commitment. If you prefer a more personalized approach, an individual session allows you to choose out of the three packages I offer with more flexible scheduling. You have the freedom to book for a certain date or location that works best for you and these sessions allow for more variety.

Sessions will take 10-15 minutes long and includes 5 digital images. This package is ONLY FOR INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS such as headshot sessions, senior portraits, communion sessions, etc.

SCHEDULING
This is the most important stage - scheduling. Now is when we will go back and forth and discuss what package you are interested in, location where our session will take place, and we will talk about availability and figure out a date/time that works.

PLANNING
Once we get you scheduled for your session, now is the time to plan outfits. Planning outfits can be a bit difficult, but I am here to help and guide you on what colors and clothing pieces photograph best, so you can have the best session and experience

IT'S TIME FOR OUR SESSION!
After the scheduling and planning is complete, you get to sit back, relax and wait for our session to take place! I send reminder emails out the day before our session which cover more detailed information.

SIT BACK, RELAX, AND WAIT!
Now that we are done with our session, all you need to do is wait until your gallery is ready to be sent over (turn around time is approx. 5-14 days after session). You will be sent with all the information needed to access your photos.

How would you describe your photography style?
I try and keep my family photography very natural, capturing the action as it happens, so it's lots of fun with posing as well. I feel this will bring out the true character of your children and will also make the session more enjoyable.
Where does the photo session take place?
For all of my sessions, I have a recommendation list of places I frequent within the Mercer County area and beyond. When booking your session, we will talk and figure out which location is ideal for YOUR session
What happens if it rains for our scheduled time?
I keep an eye on the forecast as our session approaches and in the event that rain may occur, I will reach out in the reminder email and let you know if we should wait it out, reschedule, or if we will be all good to go.
How do I view the photos after the session?
Within 5-14 days after our shoot, your edited images will be available for viewing in a private online gallery and will be sent to you via email.
How are the photos narrowed down?
After our session, I upload all of the images from our session into my editing software. I look at the photos and start to cull them down - I narrow down the photos and save the best of the best. The photos that don't get selected are either because of blinking, harsh sunlight, awkward smiles, hair in the face, or any other imperfections that don't fit the quality I deliver.
What happens if my child is ill?
I am happy to reschedule if this happens, I just ask that you let me know as soon as possible.
What should we all wear?
Exactly what you like – you all want to look and feel like yourselves. As a guide simple clothes tend to work best and avoiding logos and stripes is preferable. Layering works really well for creating different looks and a change of outfit can be a good idea for very little ones.
Should we bring anything to the session?
It's great if you can bring along some of your child's favourite toys, games, balls, kites, bubbles – anything that you enjoy doing together as a family. Snacks are also a good idea to boost your child's energy levels.
