Family + Maternity Session at Sayen Gardens

Where do I begin to start with posting this gorgeous maternity session? I have photographed Jodi and her family a few times in the past for holiday photos, and this time, we had something scheduled for some family and maternity photos to welcome their baby boy who is on the way! We had originally scheduled our session for the end of February but that day ended up being one of the coldest of the year, so we thought in the best interest of having some photos where they could actually enjoy the session, that the best idea would be to move our session back a bit. This ended up being PERFECT. For the first time I’ve photographed this family, we finally had a warm, sunny day for photos at the gorgeous Sayen Gardens, and we even had some photos taken with the unexpected blooms!

Let me tell you - Gavin was an absolute rockstar during his family session! He cracked all of the best smiles, and cracked some jokes too. We explored the park together and he gave some awesome ideas for photos such as by the rocks, standing behind mom and dad, etc. This little man will definitely be a model in his older years!

Sayen Gardens has a ton of great spots. These are just a few shots from some of my favorite spots that are already looking good this early Spring. And even better, this location is truly great year round - even in the Winter when there's typically just branches!
