THE HOLIDAYS ARE NEAR!
As crazy as it sounds, it’s time to plan for your end-of-the-year session! If you’re hoping to have photos for holiday cards, or even just to have updated photos of the family, now is the time to book your session. From now until December, I am office five different mini sessions for both Fall, and the holidays. There’s something for everyone! For the holidays, I am offering two different mini sessions with a set up, and mini sessions at Princeton University. This year, I created an adorable set up consisting of a red wagon, Christmas tree, and Christmas decor for Christmas minis. These are perfect for families and children! The second set up I’m offering is to celebrate Hanukkah, which will consist of a bench for seating, and some Hanukkah decor and signage!
Lastly, I am also offering holiday photos at Princeton University. These sessions are perfect for whatever you have in mind, families, children, maternity, seniors, you name it. Princeton University is a favorite of mine and I love being able to offer these mini sessions throughout the year.
HANUKKAH MINI SESSION W/ SET UP
For those who celebrate Hanukkah, I am offering the perfect kid finally set up for Hanukkah mini sessions this year! These sessions, which are approximately 15 to 20 minutes in length, are perfect for families with children. Whether you’re hoping just to celebrate the holiday with some photos, or perhaps update your holiday cards, these sessions are the perfect way to do so.
For Hanukkah sessions, I recommend dressing for the season! I think that blues, whites, and grays would look perfect with the set up! Consider playing around with textures such as denim, corduroy, and even some plaid.
My model call family did awesome with their outfits! They nailed it with the colors and coordination. Take a look at some photos from The Hanukkah mini session model call to get an idea of what photos you can get out of your session.
CHRISTMAS MINI SESSION W/ SET UP
I'm so in love with this year‘s Christmas set up which is perfect for families and children! These mini session slots are scheduled to be about 15 to 20 minutes long, which is the perfect time for children as it will go quick and easy. This set up allows families and children to get a variety of shots for the holidays. This family did amazing with their outfits! I love the coloring in the different textures that show! I know it may sound a bit obvious, but for these sessions consider dressing for the season. If you’re hoping to have these photos for Christmas with a Christmas set up, I would wear some colors that coincide with the holiday. Think about playing with red and greens. Try playing around with different patterns and textures! I think some great options are to play with plaids, leather, denim, khakis, ribbed textures, etc.
PRINCETON HOLIDAY MINI SESSIONS
I am so excited to be offering holiday photos at Princeton University! The sessions are perfect for whatever you have in mind, families, children, maternity, seniors, you name it. Princeton University is a favorite of mine and I love being able to offer these mini sessions throughout the year.
During these sessions, I try to photograph you and your family in the best areas for the time of day. Ideally, I place families in shaded areas to make sure there are no shadows around and to avoid harsh sunlight!
We will frequent areas such as the many gorgeous buildings, steps which we can use for sitting/standing photos, ivy, trees, and capture lots of greenery. These sessions will be at the front of the university and we will try to target as many spots as we can to get a wide variety.
For these sessions, I love seeing families wear what they want! During last year's Princeton sessions, lots of families played around with different colors, as these sessions don't necessarily mean CHRISTMAS!
