Located in the Princeton area and cared for by the Lawrence Historical Society, this hidden gem offers so much variety that it works beautifully for family sessions, couples portraits, or really any type of shoot you’re dreaming of. Just recently I’ve had the pleasure of photographing both a family and a couples session here—and trust me, the images are stunning.

Bonus Fact

This historical home was once home to the bridgetender and his family in the mid-1800s! Built around 1830, it served a vital role in keeping the canal locks operating as boats traveled between New York and Philadelphia. The home has been restored and preserved by the Lawrence Historical Society and is occasionally open for public tours and events. It’s such a special feeling to take photos where so much local history lives!
