I absolutely adore photographing the Santoro family! Over the past few years, I’ve had the privilege of capturing their beautiful memories, and every session with them just gets better and better. For our most recent session, we met at one of my favorite hidden gems in Mercer County — a peaceful creek tucked away in Lawrence, NJ.
This little spot is a summertime staple and such a fun alternative to a traditional park or field session. With the shallow water, rock beds, and soft light filtering through the trees, it makes for a whimsical and serene backdrop that photographs beautifully. The Santoro family rocked this session from start to finish. Their outfits were perfectly coordinated, the kids were full of energy, and their smiles were contagious. We captured a wide variety of shots — family portraits, individual photos of each child, sweet moments between mom and the kids, dad and the kids, siblings together, and more.
As always, I focused on blending classic posed photos with candid moments. From throwing rocks and splashing in the water, to big hugs and giggles, every part of this session was full of life and love. It’s sessions like this that truly showcase the joy of family.
