Baek family during a Princeton Mini Session

With the year coming to a quick end, it's time for my annual yearly recap! This will be the fourth yearly recap I am writing, and I cannot wait to see what next year's statistics will be! Now, let's recap all of the memories from this past year.

THIS YEAR'S STATISTICS:

367 Sessions photographed

This year I had the honor of photographing a total of 367 sessions! This number includes all of my individual sessions, and all of my mini sessions. Breaking it down a bit further, I photographed a total of 139 individual sessions (which are part of my packages), and the remaining 228 were all of my fabulous mini session clients!

56 Locations visited

This total includes my most frequently visited locations such as Sayen Gardens and Princeton University, but also includes the number of homes I visited for sessions like extended family or newborn sessions! I have visited a total of 56 locations this year, some which are now considered my favorite locations, like the Brearly House and the Prospect House at Princeton University!

3,452.8 Miles traveled

An approximate 3,452.8 miles have been traveled from session to session! Isn't that wild?! From locations far and wide, I have traveled to locations as close to 0.5 miles away from home, to 120 miles away!

SOME FUN FACTS OF THE YEAR:

Added Kristen to my team for backend and social media management

Throughout the year I have added the help of the fabulous Kristen, @kristen.lettini, to help with the behind the scenes work. And boy, I wish I did this so much sooner! Kristen helped introduce me to her favorite tools for organizing and planning content and all of the important nitty gritty stuff. Plus, she helped achieve my 2023 goals of producing more blogs, especially the ones which highlight my favorite locations for sessions! I’m so excited to continue working with her into 2024!

Photographed the Willows Swim Team

While I don't often do sports photos, these sessions were so much fun! I had a great time photographing this team all together, and a few individual shots of them as well! Within the next year, I hope to look into doing some more sports team photos like this!

Partnered with the community for local fundraisers

This year I had the honor of working with several local organizations, including the Lawrenceville Elementary School, Town Center Elementary, Indian Fields School, and the Rocky Top Dog Park! I look forward to having these sessions each year and hope to implement them within the following year.

Offered an internship with JENNAKPHOTOS to an aspiring local photographer

This year I had the pleasure of having Shelby, photographer behind @shelbypagephotography, to work alongside me for a few months and learn the ropes to operating a photography business. She came with me to many sessions and helped me with behind the scenes work such as installing set ups, capturing some social media content, and helping me prep materials. We were able to hit 100+ hours for her college internship requirement and through the entire journey, we learned so much from one another and were able to bounce off great ideas! While this was something new for me, I would love to offer this experience next year as it’s a great opportunity to help other aspiring photographers, and definitely something I wished I had when starting out!
