I recently photographed this family of 15 at their childhood home in Ewing, NJ. This was the home where all four older siblings grew up in, many memories were made, and so much love was shared! One of the siblings, Kaliope, reached out a few weeks back and wanted to hire a photographer to capture an extended family shoot at this home. It was such an important memory they wanted to preserve before their mom and dad sold this special home. We got to chatting, and finally, it was time for our shoot!
What was supposed to be a rainy day, ended up being a beautifully sunny (but humid) day. We were able to take this sun and some of the shade to capture a whole variety of photos outside the home. In the front of the home, we were able to do photos on the porch, on the lawn; by the stairs, and by the rocky pathways (a favorite for the toddlers)! Outside is where we decided to take a bulk of the photos, including the group shots, individual family photos (which included siblings, individuals of each grandkid, each parent w kids), and grandparents with the grandkids.
We also took a few shots in the inside, by this family’s gorgeous living room. The room was in pristine condition - you wouldn’t believe they were supposed to be moving out in just three days! Indoors, we captured another group shot of everyone, grandparents w grandkids once again, and a ton of just Kathy and Michael, aka yaya and papu (grandma and grandpa in Greek)!
Scroll through to see some of the many photos we were able to capture from this extended family session.
Thank you to the Rose family for inviting and trusting me to capture their sweet memories in their home. I had a blast getting to know each and everyone one of you, and wishing Kathy and Michael all the best is their new space!
