Happy, happy birthday to sweet Josie girl! This girl is a gem - she seriously is full of energy every time I see her and comes with the best faces, and of course she came prepared for her first birthday pics! I’ve photographed Josie even before she was born when mom and dad reached out to schedule a pregnancy announcement session and a maternity session! And once she was born, I saw her for a newborn session and Christmas photos in 2022! It’s great to see how much she has grown up and became her own little self <3 I’m so glad mom and dad trust me to photograph her first memories and I can’t wait to continue capturing them as she grows up.
When planning for Josie’s cake smash, mom wanted to do a strawberry themed cake smash and I LOVED the idea! I happened to have a few props that would work out since I had once offered a Strawberry mini session for children. We planned for her session and hoped that we would have a date with some great weather, and of course we did!
Day of our session, Josie came strolling over with the biggest smiles, so I already knew she would do amazing for photos. And of course she did! She was so curious about the cake and dove right in, and definitely smashed her cake!
