The Holiday season is slowly approaching and now is the perfect time to book a spot for a Holiday mini session before all spots are taken! This Christmas tree setup is perfect to fit families and children (recommended for children, but this setup can accommodate up to 7 people, including children). Please read this blog post in its entirety for all the important information you may need to know BEFORE booking your session.


- Session costs $120. To secure your spot and to book the session, there is a retainer fee of 50% of the session's cost due at the time of booking (more payment information and policies included in contract)

- Session will take up to 20 minutes long. If you think you may need a longer session or more time, consider booking two sessions back to back or reach out for more information.

- You will receive 6 digital images of your choice through an online gallery, with the option to purchase additional images for $7/image, or the entire gallery for a discounted price (great savings!!)

- Sessions will be taking place on the dates provided below. If you are interested in a session but cannot make any of the dates/times below, please reach out

- These sessions are back to back. Please make sure to arrive on time for your session - I will not have time to make up for client tardiness.

- Set up consists of a minimally decorated Christmas tree, wooden stool/ladder, presents as props.


  • This Christmas tree set up will be located in Hamilton, NJ. The exact location will be disclosed to clients as the session approaches. 
  • Parking is available at this location


Please make sure to arrive to your session ON TIME. I strongly advise arriving to the location about 10 minutes BEFORE the start time to make sure you find parking and are all ready. 

As the session approaches, you will be given my personal phone number to contact me upon arrival for your session. When you arrive at the location, please text me your session time and name that you booked the session under and I will respond as soon as I get a chance. Please be aware that if you do not receive an immediate reply, that I am currently in a session. When you text me that you have arrived, it will notify me on my Apple Watch so I will be aware you are here. Please just wait for a reply for further instructions on where I will meet you.


If you arrive late or arrive after your scheduled session’s time, please note that we will NOT have time to extend or 

You will be prompted to sign a contract upon booking the session and will need to make sure you understand the terms of late arrival.

No refunds will be given for tardiness. More information regarding late policies is included in the contract.


When you book your session, you will be prompted to pay a retainer fee payment on the booking website (the last step to confirm your time slot). The remaining balance can be paid on the day of the session.

Q. Why is a retainer fee needed? Will this go towards the session fee?

A. The retainer fee is needed to hold your spot for these high-demand sessions. It is industry standard for photographers to require a retainer fee! The retainer fee goes towards the session fee - for these sessions, a retainer fee of 50% of the session fee is required to be paid when booking the session. The remaining balance can be paid on the day of the session.

Q. Will, I be able to cancel and get a refund?

A. Per contract, no. Once you book a session, you have already signed a contract and sent a retainer fee payment. Per the contract, the retainer fee is non-refundable and cannot be used to substitute or exchange your session for another product or session.


After your session, you can expect to receive an online gallery with your images approx. 5-12 days after your session. Please be patient in regards to receiving your gallery. I do not send out sneak peeks but feel free to check out my social media in the event that I do post them :)

Once your photos are done editing, they will be uploaded to an online gallery and sent on to the client via email with instructions on how to select their images.

Q. How do you narrow photos down to be selected into the online gallery?

A. Once I get home from sessions, I go through a long process of narrowing the photos down. I look at each image and narrow the images down by the best of the best. The photos that are removed from the gallery and are not selected in the culling process are because of one or more of the following: blinking, blurry photos, too much movement, harsh sunlight, squinting eyes, teary eyes, duplicates, etc.

Q. How will these photos be edited? What can I expect the final product to look like?

A. When you book a session with me, you are aware of my aesthetics in editing and what my work looks like. You will be receiving images that are on-brand with the work I produce and put out on my social media, portfolio, website, and welcome guide. 

Q. How many photos are included in the online gallery?

A. With this session, you will receive six digital images. (See below for information on additional images/entire gallery)

Q. Will I be able to purchase additional images or the entire gallery?

A. Yes, and yes! Once your online gallery is sent out to you, I will have instructions on how to let me know which images you are interested in. If you just so happen to like more images than the session includes, please let me know when you are done selecting your favorites and I will send an invoice for the additional images. Additional images are $7/image. I also offer a discount if you purchase the entire gallery! I make sure that it is definitely great savings for clients and is worth it if you love so many photos! 


Weather can be tricky to work around and it can definitely be unpredictable! I keep an eye on the forecast days before our session and will send updates regarding the weather and if I think it may pose a concern for our session. I send a reminder email the day or night before our session and this is where I will make the final decision if we will need to reschedule due to rain/snow/storms/thunder. I do not reschedule sessions due to temperature - I try to schedule these sessions so the weather won’t be too cold to prevent needing to reschedule for temperature. 

In the event that we DO need to reschedule because of rain/snow/storms/thunder, you will receive additional information in the reminder email and we will try to work around one another schedule to figure out an ideal date/time. Every attempt will be made to reschedule your photo session. The client must communicate with the photographer to try and reschedule their session - they will have up to one week to reschedule for a future date or will risk losing their retainer fee payment.

These Holiday mini sessions are very high in demand and there are very limited spots available. Once all spots are booked, they are booked! Make sure to snag a spot as soon as you can if you are interested in a session.
