I love meeting and photographing new faces! The Coats family was new to me, and actually won one of my session giveaways a few months back! We finally got around to scheduling their session and let me tell you, it was absolutely beautiful ❤️

Mom reached out to book her session and after chatting, we secured a date and decided on Sayen Gardens (one of my favorite spots)! We seriously lucked out with how gorgeous the weather is and even got some photos with the leaves changed in fall color. 

The Coats family came dressed in the best outfits - I am so in love with them! I love when families choose a color palette for their outfits and base their outfits around such colors. This family has beautiful shades of blue and I’m loving moms orange dress which pops (and also matches Emma’s hair). They seriously did amazing with outfits!

We chose a few spots to capture photos at and captured a variety of shots including full family (some with their fluffy dog, Murph, of course), shots with each parent and the kids, individuals and the kids together, and even a few of mom and dad together. I usually take mostly posed photos, but I love throwing in some candid shots to each gallery as well. We got tons of smiles and giggles out of everyone, and did a few walking shots which were tons of fun!
