Avalon Beach Extended Family Session - JENNAKPHOTOS, NJ Photographer

Beach sessions, they’re such a favorite. But they’re even better when you’re surrounded by all of those you love! I was so excited to photograph this extended family session at Avalon beach a few weeks back. Despite some serious winds, we were able to capture some great smiles and a wide variety of shots!

I’ve photographed Jessica and her family four a few times before, and this time, she reached out to capture photos with her mom and sisters (and their families), and mom’s sisters and their families! With this in mind, it was importantly to capture a combination of photos, but especially some great group shots! We captured a few large groups shots with all 19 people with a few different backdrops - some against the boardwalk, on the beach with the whole beach in the back, and a group shot in front of the ocean! Even though it was a windy windy day, photoshop came in handy to help switch some faces and fix some of the windy hair ◡̈ We were able to capture other important shots such as Jessica’s individual family, and her sisters individual families (which included a group shot, group shot with grandma included, the siblings, parents together, and each kid individually). 

This photoshoot was meant for grandma, so we had to capture some photos of grandma with her daughters, photos with her grandkids, and photos of her and her sisters! It became so important to capture all these fun variations ◡̈
