Check out some of the fabulous backdrops at Washington Crossing Park

Nelson House

Located on the NJ side, The Nelson House is a small 19th century building, which also offers a staircase for capturing seated shots.

You can learn more about the history of this house here.

Against the Visitor Center

The Visitor Center provides a natural backdrop and boasts greenery most of the year.

Hibbs House Kitchen Garden & Historic Village Garden

Both of these gardens encompass many species of plants that are accurate to 1776 or earlier and likely to have been grown in Bucks County during the Revolution.

The Hibbs House Kitchen Garden features a tool shed and large trellis. Across the way, the Historic Village Garden is the oldest garden at Washington Crossing Park, where you will find this green door and stairs that I often like to use as a backdrop.

In Front of the River

Capturing photos in front of the river is sweet and simple! Riverside offers plenty of greenery, shade and nice flat grass, which can be great for kids to run around :)

Along the Boat Barn

Here you'll find simple yet stunning backdrops, which are great for headshots or maternity photos, like this one.

Cherry Blossoms

Cherry Blossoms are typically in bloom the last week of March through the first week of April and can be found in the front of the park (off River Rd.). When in bloom, they offer a pretty pink background and airy spring vibes.

Pathways

There are also plenty of pathways to capture walking shots and greenery or foliage.

Benches

Last but not least, there are benches throughout the park, which help capture a variety of poses during our session.
