YOU JUST BOOKED YOUR SESSION... NOW WHAT?
Take a look through the process from once you book your session, until the time that we meet.
MAKE SURE YOU RECEIVE AN AUTOMATIC CONFIRMATION VIA EMAIL!
This is the first and most important step! When you book a session, you instantly receive an email with information for the time slot you booked. On my end, this is where I have the personal information I may need such as email, and your address (so I can send a thank you note after our session), as well as the contract and answers to the questionnaire. If you do not receive an email, please send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and let me know that you booked a session so I can have the right email for you on file!
On the automatic email, there will also be a link for you to access a session prep guide which will provide additional information on the best ways to prepare for YOUR session. If you book a mini-session, you will receive the session prep guide, as well as an information guide for the particular mini you booked.
START THE PLANNING PROCESS FOR THE BEST OUTFITS!
I'll admit, this part can be quite tricky! The planning process when it comes to outfits may be the most stressful part as it can be hard to figure out what everyone will wear, but I recommend checking the session prep guide which was sent for information on wardrobe and more. Feel free to take a look at some below blog posts for some additional tips:

At this point, if you happen to have any questions, I am here to help! My goal is to make the process as stress-free as I can for clients and to make their photoshoots a memorable experience. I want my clients to have some fun during sessions, but to also look back at their photos with so much love and to be able to remember a fun time you all had making memories with one another!
WAIT FOR AN AUTOMATIC REMINDER EMAIL!
You can expect an automatic reminder email the day before our session. The booking website often sends them around 10-11 AM. The automatic email will only just be a simple reminder and will state that I will be sending a personal reminder later in the day.
WAIT FOR A PERSONAL REMINDER EMAIL!
I typically send a personal reminder email in the afternoon, most times because I have school during the days and photos after school, so this is the only time I get to send a reminder over. But also, in the event that the forecast looks concerning and weather may not be the best, I try to wait as long as I can to make sure we have the most accurate forecast to look at before making any unnecessary calls such as cancelling sessions for the day if it looks like it will rain five days from our session, but ends up beautiful for our time LOL.
The personal reminder email will go over exact details for where we will be meeting, as well as information for the remaining balance, my phone number to text when you arrive, etc.
