ENTRY WAY TO ARCH
This whole area is a great spot for photos! I love starting off by having families in front of the arch, under the arch, against the columns, you name it.

STAIRCASE IN FRONT OF SAYEN HOUSE
Depending on how the sun is facing for the time of our session, I love to capture a variety of photos, including some sitting shots. This small staircase makes for some great photos with the plants and greenery along the sides.

ALONG THE FENCES
I love utilizing the fencing along the park. I typically pose clients at this spot for headshot sessions, senior portraits, or individual children's portraits (so cute having them hang on)!

OPEN GRASS AREA
I primarily set up birthday/cake smash setups at this strip of open grass! The background makes the photos turn out beautiful with all the greenery behind!

ARCH UPON ENTRANCE
This is typically the first stop for photos during your session! I love capturing photos under this gorgeous arch. During the Holiday's, there are also Christmas lights wrapped around the entrance!

BRIDGE BY THE POND
Who doesn't love a good photo on this gorgeous bridge? I love having family photos here or children standing with another depending on what the lighting situation is outside :)

PATHWAY BY THE ENTRANCE
This spot is probably one of my go to areas to bring clients! I personally LOVE the look of greenery from behind and love to capture a variety of standing shots here, and some fun walking photos (like pictured)! This area is especially beautiful during Fall with all of the leaves changing colors.

FAQ
Q. Is photography allowed at this location?
A. Yes! We are allowed to roam the area and take photos at this beautiful garden park. (However, wedding photos require permit, but that’s not a problem since I don’t do weddings haha).
Q. What types of sessions do you recommend for this location?
A. This location is perfect for a variety of services and portraits I photograph such as family photos, children, newborn photography, senior portraits, maternity, couples - you name it.
Q. Is there parking at this lcoation?
A. This location has a parking lot on site but PLEASE NOTE: sometimes it can be FULL and there is NO parking. Parking is allowed along the grass (opposite side of the parking spaces) - typically is all the spots are full, you will see others parked along the grass. However, if that is full, you are allowed to park on the opposite side of Hughes (in front of the houses), or you can park at the Nottingham Firehouse (and walk a minute over to the parking lot for our session).
Q. What season of the year is best for photos at this location?
A. Honestly, all of them (even in the Winter snow)! However, each season has its perks. During Spring time, they are newly planted flowers which are colorful and make for a gorgeous pop of color in background. During the Summer, there are also planted flowers (not as colorful though compared to Spring). For Fall, it is perfect if you would like to capture to Fall foliage in the backdrop! All of the greenery turns to beautiful shades of oranges and yellows and is my #1 spot for Fall photos! However, during Winter, it is a given that it is not too much in terms of scenery. It is a GREAT location for snow photos, but otherwise, the trees and branches are very bare.
